I attended Houghall College in 2000, where I studied Arboriculture, the science behind effective tree services.
This course covered all aspects of trees, including tree identification, disease recognition, tree surveys, trees and the law, and various practical skills such as tree climbing, tree felling, and chainsaw operations.
Since then, I’ve worked continuously in arboriculture, gaining a vast amount of experience and knowledge across the industry. I’m a fully qualified tree surgeon based in Durham and surrounding areas, offering professional tree removal, tree pruning, and a full range of tree services.

Andy and his crew had a very tricky job felling out 2 last Ash trees, having to work round buildings and listed boundary walls,
However the whole job was undertaken brilliantly, and skillfully, with no damage at all,
An all round excellent team, I would very much recommend, mark c

Mark Coulthard is our neighbour and I can most fully endorse his warm recommendation of Andy Chapman's splendid work as a tree surgeon - our ash tree being one of the trees that Andy worked on so successfully last week. We have used him before, with a first class outcome and last week's assignment was once again carried through with his customary proficiency and professionalism, leaving the site both safe and tidy. Andy is a skilled top-performer, a credit to his profession and I can recommend him with confidence.

I used Andy - A.C.E Tree Services on Fellside Park, Whickham, Gateshead.
I would 100 percent use him again.
Our neighbours tree was hanging over our garden and it was so high blocking out the sun. I spoke with the neighbour and they were happy to get the tree trimmed, as long as I used a professional company.
I was initially quoted by another company and I believe they weren't professional, so I waited and saw Andy's advert within Whickham residents.
I'm so pleased I did !
